Code of Conduct

Pokémon TCG Team League is a competitive environment built on respect, fairness, and sportsmanship. All players, captains, and participants are required to follow this Code of Conduct at all times.

Violations may result in disciplinary action, up to and including suspension or permanent removal from the league.

All participants must:

  • Treat opponents, teammates, captains, admins, and spectators with respect
  • Communicate clearly, honestly, and in good faith
  • Compete with integrity and follow all league rules
  • Represent the league professionally in matches and all league-related interactions

Pokémon TCG Team League enforces a zero tolerance policy for the following behavior:

  • Hate speech or discriminatory language
  • Harassment or abuse based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or age
  • Threats, intimidation, or encouragement of harm
  • Slurs, derogatory remarks, or demeaning stereotypes in any form

This policy applies to all league-related activity, including:

  • Live matches (digital or in-person)
  • Private messages related to league play or league operations
  • Any league communication channels
Violations of this policy may result in immediate suspension or expulsion without warning.

Practicing good sportsmanship is essential to maintaining a fair and welcoming environment. Players are expected to:

  • Win and lose gracefully
  • Avoid taunting, arguing, stalling, or pressuring your opponent
  • Respect reasonable pauses for technical issues
  • Follow admin rulings without hostility

The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:

  • Cheating, collusion, or match fixing
  • Intentionally misreporting match results
  • Exploiting bugs, loopholes, or technical issues for competitive advantage
  • Using outside assistance during a match
Confirmed violations will result in severe disciplinary action including suspension or expulsion.

If you experience or witness a Code of Conduct violation:

  • Report the issue immediately to your captain and a league admin
  • Provide screenshots, logs, or other evidence when available
  • Do not retaliate or escalate the situation yourself

League administrators reserve the right to:

  • Investigate incidents and gather evidence
  • Issue warnings, penalties, suspensions, or expulsions
  • Take necessary actions to protect competitive integrity and community safety
Participation in Pokémon TCG Team League constitutes agreement to abide by this Code of Conduct. Upon registering, you agree to these terms.
